The jackpot in the US lottery Powerball continues to be in the three-digit million range. Yesterday’s Saturday draw again failed to find a buyer for the main prize.
According to the lottery operator, around 140 million dollars are now expected in the highest prize category for the coming Wednesday round (30th October 2019).
In the US state of Louisiana, a lottery tip was played on Saturday that just missed the main prize. Thanks to “5 Right” and the “Power Play” option played, the winning ticket has a 2 million dollar prize in second place.
Update:
Did anyone win the Powerball draw last (Wednesday) night? The winning numbers for the Powerball draw last night were 19, 22, 52, 56, 67 and 21, with a Power Play of 2X.
Nobody won the $140 million jackpot, nor did anyone match five balls which has a prize of $1 million. However, nine people matched four balls and the Powerball which has a prize of $50,000, but seven of those winners used the Power Play and won $100,000.
As nobody won the jackpot, the money will roll over to the next draw. The next drawing, on Saturday (2nd November 2019), has an estimated jackpot of $150 million and a cash option of $103.3 million.
