The tournament started with 71 players including Eli Elezra, Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Viktor Blom, Philipp Zukernik, Marek Blasko, Robert Campbell, Jeff Lisandro and Jeff Madsen.
Win, €75.246 prize money and his first gold WSOP bracelet went to Espen Sandvik after defeating Ville Haavisto in the heads-up.
Ville Haavisto received €46,613 in prize money for second place.
Asked what the bracelet meant to the winner, Haavisto replied: “More self-confidence and more inspiration to work harder. I’m good at bankroll management, and the main event, the buy-in is too much. I don’t take too big a risk. I feel good about playing like this and not being nervous.”
