In the sixth week of the European League of Legends League LEC, the battle for playoff places has continued. While favourites such as Fnatic and Origen have seldom been able to achieve their full potential recently, the league’s youngsters are convincing.
G2 Esports, Fnatic, Splyce and Schalke 04, who lead the table in this order, are well placed. But there are only two wins between the fifth and last place in the league.
Misfits Gaming, EXCEL and Rogue, along with SK Gaming, continue to be the league runners-up but have been able to show more good results in their last games.
Over the past week, both Paul “sOAZ” Boyer (25) and Kang “GorillA” Beom-hyun (24) announced they would leave Misfits Gaming. Both star players previously lost their starting positions in the LEC to young talents.
The teams now have six games left over the remaining three weeks to place in the top 6 of the league and solve a playoff ticket.
