Nicolas “nicolas99fc” Villalba dominated the FIFA 19 Global Series Playoffs in Berlin as the world number one. On Playstation 4, the Argentinian could not be disturbed.
In the final against Lev “Lev” Vinken from the Netherlands, Nicolas99fc was the last to take it seriously. In the duel with the fourth-placed player in the world rankings, who will play for the Italian team Mkers, everything was demanded of the subsequent titleholder. In the end, however, he beat his opponent 2-1.
On the way to the title Nicolas99fc also eliminated the German co-favourite Mohammed “MoAuba” Harkous von Werder Bremen more than clearly with 7:2. Already during the regular season, Nicolas99fc collected more points than his competitors in various competitions on PS4.
On the playoff weekend in Berlin, second-placed Corentin “Maestro” Thuillier of Team Vitality in the world rankings, Corentin “Maestro” Thuillier, from Team Vitality, was already eliminated in the second round with a conceivably tight 4:5 against Christian “Spiteri” Spiteri from Malta. eChampions-League winner Christopher “NYC_Chris” Holly was eliminated on the first day.
From a German point of view, the Berlin playoffs were not a great success. However, the German Tim “TheStrxngeR” Katnawatos secured himself a ticket for the world championship with a mixed performance. With the points of the Global Series playoffs, the FC Basel player came 15th in the PS4 ranking. The top 16 will take part in the eWorld Cup in London in August.
Also qualified for PS4 are the two German players MoAuba and Erhan “DrErhano” Kayman.
