The Poker Masters 2019 in Las Vegas are drawing to a close, and the grand finale in the form of Event #10 $50,000 No Limit Holdem was on the horizon.
23 players paid the buy-in of $50,000, and 11 re-buys made the prize pool $1,700,000. Five places are to be paid, and $680,000 is waiting for the winner. Once again, Mathias Eibinger from our latitudes was there, but Igor Kurganov also tried to prove his skills.
For Eibinger it does not run at all at the Poker Masters. Once again, he was there with two entries and once again he had an early finish. Igor Kurganov was also not supposed to make it through the day, although he was good in the meantime.
After Alex Foxen had to leave the tournament on the 7th place, they played a little further, but the remaining six players could finally bag. This marks the start of the final on the bubble tonight.
Last year’s Purple Jacket winner, Ali Imsirovic, will be the short stack. The winner of this year’s race has already been found with Sam Soverel. After the tournament was over for Kahle Burns on place 8, it was clear that Sam Soverel the purple jacket and the victory in the Poker Masters overall standings can no longer take anyone. Soverel is second in chips in the final.
All he had to do was let Chris Hunichen take the lead, who will lead the field tomorrow.
