The Berlin Counter-Strike team BIG has to admit defeat early. They bid North farewell at the Minor Tournament. Sprout is out too.
The Berlin Counter-Strike Team BIG failed in the group phase of the Minor Tournament in the German capital. The other German representatives also had to pack their bags.
In the deciding match against North, BIG lost 0:2. Thus, the clan also missed the qualification for the second major tournament of the year, which also takes place in Berlin (August 23rd to September 8th). The major tournaments are considered unofficial World Cup tournaments on the scene.
No more German participants in the race
The German Kevin “kRYSTAL” Amend also failed with his team No Chance against mousesports and is therefore not part of the Berlin Minor. Also, the second German team Sprout managed to start the rounds against mousesports but finally had to admit defeat.
For BIG, a disappointing season continued. At the ESL One in Cologne two weeks ago, the team also dropped out in the preliminary round. Even at the first major tournament of the year in February in Katowice, Poland, BIG missed the final round.
This means that there will be no German player at the StarLadder Major in Berlin in the starting field.
