This weekend the final of the League of Legends Premiere Tour 2019 Winter will take place in Neu-Ulm. In addition to the 5v5, a 1v1 champion was also sought.
Slowly but surely the eSports year is approaching its end, but the German fans can still look forward to one of the last big highlights in the form of the League of Legends Premiere Tour. Even before the final of the 5v5 match, SK Gaming and Unicorns of Love competed against each other in the 1v1 final.
German player Janik “Jenax” Bartels qualified for the final round for the traditional German organisation SK Gaming, while Spaniard Sergi “Lvsyan” Madrigal Gómez competed for the Unicorns of Love.
Mirror match decides series
The final of the singles competition went over the full distance with the happier outcome for Jenax. He won both mirror matches in the series. At such a meeting, both players choose the same champion.
Thus both participants have the same strengths and weaknesses, which is why, in the end, it is all about the skill of the individual pro.
In match one, the gamers chose Lee-Sin, while in round five, Teemo was selected.
Although Jenax was the winner, in the end, both opponents were celebrated frenetically by the fans.
