He is probably the most famous e-athlete of the planet and THE face of “Fortnite”. And yet Tyler Blevins – better known as “Ninja” – will be missing from the big World Cup at the end of July. The reason: He was simply too bad!
Already two weeks ago Ninja failed at the qualification tournament for single players in “Fortnite”. Now Ninja, who has become a millionaire with his game streams, also missed the qualification for the team competition!
When the world’s best “Fortnite” players gamble for a total of 30 million dollars in prize money in New York from 26 to 28 July, Blevins will be missing out. Together with his partner Malachi “Reverse2k” Greine Ninja could not prevail against the opponents.
His four million followers and fans from all over the world will probably not have to do without a World Cup appearance completely. Ninja announced to go to the final despite his sportive failure as a visitor.
The event in New York has been sold out for a long time. But for Ninja, it shouldn’t be challenging to get another ticket. The “Fortnite” star should be welcomed with open arms by the organizers.
